Ethel M. Brown Shivers died at age of 67 on January 18, 2021 at Baton Rouge General. She was a resident of Gonzales, La. She leaves to cherish her memories, a husband of 49 years, Charles Shivers. 2 children, Paquita "Louis" Seymour and Travis "Bianca" Shivers. 3 sisters, Victoria Brown, Geismar, La, Dorothy Brown, Gonzales, La.,Oletha Brown, Culver City, California, 1 brother, Robert Brown, Geismar, La. 3 aunts, Leona Williams, Ophelia Johnson, and Gloria Mason. 6 sister- in-laws. 4 brother-in-laws; 4 godchildren. Ethel was an employee at EATEL for 19 years. She later accepted a position with Ascension Parish Health Division where she worked for 12 years before retiring in 2019. She preceded in death by her mother, father, 4 brothers, mother-in-law. Visitation will be held on January 23, 2021 at From 9am until 11am at Hambricks Family Mortuary, 808 W. Worthey St., Gonzales, LA. 70737.

So sorry to hear of Ms. Ethel's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with Ms. Ethel and her family at this difficult time. I had the joy and honor of working with Ms. Ethel for years at the Ascension Parish Health Unit. May she rest in peace in heaven with the Lord Jesus Chrisy.

I met her through my cousin in law, very humble always had a smile. When Stacie introduced her to me it was a though I had been knowing her forever. Family i know you may say why, just know she was ready, her work was completed here on earth. Remember all the good times, She would want you to go on with your life. Accept what God Allows, I'm praying for your family. Trust in the lord he will see you through this. Chelsea i love and I know you know the Lord lean on him.
