Eunice Marie Sanchez Fairchild passed away on February 18, 2021, at the age of 101. Born in McCall, she was a lifelong resident of St. Gabriel and a graduate of St. Gabriel High School. Her most cherished work was her family. She took pride in cooking, sewing and offering love and support to those in need. Eunice was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was happiest when she was surrounded by her beloved family. She radiated pure joy and never missed a chance to pronounce her love through her actions and words. She is survived by sisters, Elsie Medine and Ann Hymel; two daughters, Brenda Taillon (Gilbert), and Denise Parker, son, Charles Fairchild, Jr. (Maria); 2 grandchildren, Troy Parker (Lisa), and Chris Parker (Amy); 2 great-grandchildren, Anna and Amelia Parker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Fairchild; parents, Omer and Delia Sanchez; five brothers, Linas, Ulysse, Percy, T.J. and Fred Sanchez; sisters, Ruby Holtrop and Shirley Fremin.
