2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation old things are passed away: behold all things have become new". F. Wallace Guerin became new again today as he passed away on January 7, 2019. He was born July 9, 1925. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fernand Wallace and Ida Marie Persac Guerin, his loving wife of 48 years, Emma Rae Linscomb Guerin, a brother and sister in law, Donald and Freddie Guerin, and a son, Kurt Wallace Guerin. He is survived by a son and daughter in law, Scott and Debra Guerin with 2 grandchildren, Austin and Alden Guerin, a daughter and son in law, Kay (Guerin) and Terry Cannon, a daughter in law and spouse, Ellen (Wax, Guerin) and Brad Blackledge, a grandson and wife, Grant and Abigail Guerin with two great grandchildren, Breanna and Beverly Guerin, 3 sisters in law, Martha Deshotel, Sharon Hollier, and Tilly Linscomb, and many nieces and nephews. Wallace was a World War II Navy Veteran. He worked many years for the Department of Labor as "Chief of Manpower Services". A service will be held at Sunnyside Christian Center 16940 Hwy 77, Rosedale, La 70772 on Saturday January 12, 2019 at 1:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Clarity Hospice. Many thanks to Clarity Hospice for their special care.

I have many pleasant memories of having known Wally, being a fellow worker at la. Dept of labor. Enjoyed his sense of humor.

Scott and Kay, thanks for sharing your dad with us. We really enjoyed when he would come watch LSU with us. We will certainly miss him. I know Daddy(Jim Bizette) and Mr Roy Lewis are waiting on him. They will welcome him with open arms. You guys lost a good Dad and we lost a good friend. Rest In Peace Mr Wiley . Jim's children Barry Bizette ! Annette Cook and Linda Denova.
