Frances "Cookie" Clark, retired secretary and loving mother, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 13, 2018. Cookie was born on December 20, 1944 in Morganza, LA and was a resident of Baker. She is survived by her sons, Jimmy Jackson and wife Kay of Bossier City, LA and Ken Jackson and wife Jennifer of Central, LA; her grandsons, Damien, Wesley and Cullen Jackson; siblings, Bessie (Glenn) Stockton and Jay (Faye) Henderson; and her friend, Gene Hanshaw. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Clark, parents James and Leona Ortis and beloved granddaughter, Kenlie Jackson. Memorial Service will be held on Monday, October 22nd at 10 AM at Passion Connection Church, 9250 Hwy 19, Zachary, LA. Sermon will begin at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Cookie, when Ken call me & told me what happen,I was so shock as you didn't have heart problems like mom & I did. I'm still in shock but I will never forget when I had to have a heart cat as the doctor came out & said that my heart was so enlarge & swollen that he couldn't operated as it was to dangers that I had to be put on meds Then found out I had allergs to the meds so we finally found something that help me & so far I'm still here thank good. Now you are in heaven with all the family once again & not suffering. you probably will be going back to Old River with mon ,dad &Chuck . then you might be going shopping with Kenlie at your side.Going to miss you sis!
