Freda Foyil Patrick, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, died peacefully at her home in St. Francisville, on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2021. She was 75 years old and a native of Lake Charles. Visitation will be on Friday, Feb. 19, 2021 at First Baptist Church St. Francisville from 9 am until service time at 11 am conducted by Rev. Joel Williams and Rev. Joe Ratcliff. Burial will be at Feliciana Cemetery, St. Francisville. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Sammy Patrick, Sr., a daughter, Julie Patrick Horn and husband, Robby, and a son, Yancey Patrick and wife, Monica. Freda is survived by her 8 grandchildren whom she adored spending time with, Madeline Patrick, Emma Patrick, Makenzie Patrick, LCpl James Patrick Horn, Jack-Henry Horn, Julian Horn, Chase Horn and Shea Corona. A great-granddaughter, Stella Rose Sagely. Pallbearers will be LCpl James Patrick Horn, Jack-Henry Horn, Julian Horn and Robby Horn. Freda was an active member of First Baptist Church St. Francisville. Her passion was singing and playing the piano. She loved God with all her heart.
