I'm going to miss my Second Dad! Looking back he coached my basketball, football & baseball teams. My Dad & I fished with him many, many weekends. We played basketball many early Saturday mornings. I never expected that as I got older I would get to work with him for about 8 years. He encouraged my faith in God and he will be greatly missed.

I'll so miss my childhood neighbor from Westwego, here in Prairieville. When we moved up here we put our son Wayne in baseball. We were early when I pulled up behind the catchers plate for the 1st practice. We watched as a kid threw out his pitch and his Dad received it .. right in the nose... I ran to see if he was ok, and there.. was Freddie Dufren, my childhood neighbor.. it's been so nice to run into Freddie, always with a smile. Such a nice guy and amazing family man.
My heart and prayers are with you Lorita, and your beautiful family.
