Gerard Hawkins entered into eternal rest at his residence in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Sunday, January 10, 2021. He was a 65 year old of native of Baldwin, Louisiana. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private service conducted by Rev. Kenneth Chandler will be held at Shady Grove B.C.; interment at Louisiana National Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Patrice W. Hawkins; daughter, Dr. Brehana H. Brown (Jerel); siblings, Roslyn Robinson (John), Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Archie, Jr. (Mary) and Fanny Hawkins all of Houston, Texas; mother and father-in-law, Curtis and Gloria Washington, Baldwin; brothers-in-law, Tony (Betty) and Don Washington (Felicia); sister-in-law, Cherie Washington, other relatives and friends.
