Gladys Eve Alleman Dupuis, a lifelong resident of Pierre Part, passed away on January 2, 2019 at the age of 86. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Norris Dupuis; three children, Virgin Aucoin (Danny), Jane Coupel (Nathan), and Kenneth Dupuis (Amy); five grandchildren Drew Theriot, Matthew and Justin Coupel, and Jace and Lilly Dupuis; and two siblings, Edgar Alleman and Mabel Ourso. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Claire Daigle Alleman; one daughter, Lisa Dupuis; and nine siblings. She loved flower gardening, going to the casino, and spending time with her family and friends. Special thanks to Godchild, Linda Gaudet; Thibodaux Healthcare Center staff; St. Joseph Hospice staff; and Jerrilyn Gros. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Ourso Funeral Home from 5:30 pm until 9:00 pm in Pierre Part. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Ourso Funeral Home from 10:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial for 1:00 pm at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Pierre Part. I was sorry to hear of Miss Gladys' passing. She always had a smile and a hello for you when you met up with her. She is at peace now in the arms of Our Lord. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
