Grace Elizabeth Mollere, 86, a native of Pierre Part and lived with her daughter, Sal Robert for the past 30 years in Donaldsonville. She passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Grace was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. Grace played the role of the mother and father to all her children after the loss of her husband at a young age. She loved all of her children equally and made sure they were always taken care of. Grace enjoyed family gatherings, cooking, cleaning and going to the casino. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her eight children, Harry Mollere, Iris Matheson, Elouise Badeaux (Kurt), Gloria Perez (David), Janice Perez (Michael, Michael Mollere (Jessica), Rickey Mollere (Deborah) and Sal Robert (Bryan); 19 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and 1 sister, Gulia Rivere. She is preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Mollere; one daughter Maudrey Giroir; two sons-in-law, Fred R. Matheson and Alvin Giroir; one daughter-in-law, Beatrice Alleman; one great greatgrandchild, Montana Short and eight siblings. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 from 8:30am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
