Gwen Spillman Arceneaux died on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Landmark Nursing Center of Hammond. She was a resident of Baton Rouge. She is survived by her son Joseph Arceneaux, Jr. and wife Carolyn of Krum, TX; daughters: Stephanie Arceneaux of Lake Charles, and Sondra Santangelo (Anthony) of Tickfaw; sisters: Sue Folse of Pierre Part, Cathy Scott (Mike) of Pierre Part, and Pam Bryant (Neal) of St. Amant; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Arceneaux, Sr.; daughter Stacie Arceneaux; father Ray James Spillman; mother Christine Rebowe Spillman; grandparents Ruben and Addie Spillman and Peter and Bessie Rebowe; and a sister Bobbie Spillman LeBlanc. Friends and family members are invited to attend a graveside service at Roselawn Memorial Park on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 11am.
