Helen Craft, 89, passed on Tuesday, July 10, 2018. She was born June 28, 1929 in Birmingham, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Esther Tyler, and sister, Jo Ann Young. Helen lost the love of her life, her husband Donald, in November of 2012. They were married for 62 years. Survived by her brother Jerry (Cecilia) Tyler, she leaves a devoted family of Don (Dinah), David (Kim) and Dale (Joan). She loved her three boys with all her heart, and was their biggest fan. She had nine grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. She endured endless teasing from all of them, literally until the day she passed. Helen enjoyed tennis, square dancing and making awesome chocolate chip cookies. She loved the ladies who took wonderful care of her at Williamsburg Senior Living Community. Visitation will be Friday, July 13th at Rabenhorst East 11000 Florida Blvd. beginning at 9:00am until service in funeral home chapel at 10:30am, burial will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Joseph's Hospice of Baton Rouge.
