On behalf of the Gerald East family we would like to extend our sincere condolences. Mrs Ida Mae was an awesome lady that leaves an awesome legacy. As believers we know to be absent from the body is to be present with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We pray that God grants you some serenity during this trying time.

I know you are now resting peacefully in a wonderful place but it's so sad that you are not here with us anymore. You were such a loving and caring person for all of your family. There were so many memories and moments I miss and value as I grew up. From the helping you out in the garden, feeding the dogs and cats, picking blueberries from the bushes and sometimes when I helped you when you cook. Also just being able to see you when I can. All those memories and even lessons I've learned, I cherish. I wish you could have been able to do more of those things that I know you loved to do. You've been fighting and fighting for so long to get through and you did. I know you were tired and were ready to finally be at peace and I'm thankful that you can finally rest peacefully and not have to stress. I love you Mama Ida ❤
