My Mom, Vina Glynn tells me everyday she is going to miss her neighbor. They would often talk over the fence; or, as they checked their mail. He used to look out for Mom who is now 96; and sometimes come over to mow her grass or do little things for her. Jamie and my Dad were great buddies till my Dad passed away. He was always anxious to hear where I had been when I arrived home; or where my travels might take me when he saw me packing up my little motor home. We chatted about his hunting and fishing. He was kind enough to rave about my experimental cooking when I would bring home a plate. He even loved our cats till they all passed away. My Molly used to sneak into the backdoor of his house to nap! He laughed about it and said he liked her visiting. He did really love animals. It is strange not to see him next door; as he's been our neighbor for decades. Rest In Peace, Jamie. We shall miss you.
