Not sure what to say?

Thank you for your books. I literally laughed out loud reading them. Your baseball oriented comedy was truly original and everlasting.

Dear Mary Jayne... I am deeply sorry for the loss of your dear Dad, Jay. Just today I was remembering old Phillies, and sharing stories with my husband. I recalled your Dad's name and decided to look him up. It was a shock to learn about how Covid took his life. As a kid, my family had season tickets to the Phillies and so during those games when your Dad was on the field, he became an icon for me! Peace and blessing to you! Mitzi Adams, CT.

RIP SIR. ENJOYED WATCHING YOU PLAY BASEBALL

Enjoyed his years as a Dodgers and he definitely was a Prankster. Remember the dragging the infield with Reuss and I thought Mickey Hatcher was one of the four.

A friend of 65 years.

Almost a year since you left..hoping you're flying high... you sure are missed in this world.

A good ballplayer and a bunch of class. Not many men can compare to his sense of humor.

I didn't hear the sad news until the first week of February. He was my all time favorite baseball player. I was a fan since 1976. When he had a great season for the Phillies. My condolences to his family, friends, and other fans around the country

Jay baseball days were alittle before my time but Jay sounds like a totally amazing person both on and off the field. So sorry.
