Jean was also an officer with her neighborhood association and a weekly volunteer at Cancer Services. Jean had a great and deep love for her family. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Maurice A. Roan, Sr; her son Maurice A. Roan, Jr and his wife Shadelia T. Roan; her daughter Angela K. Roan; her two grandsons, Johnathan Q.
