Dr. Jeffrey Robert Allen was born February 11, 1974 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and passed away November 23, 2018 in Atlanta, Georgia. Although brief to his family, his life was filled with incredible experiences others often wished they had. Jeff grew up in Watson and was a graduate of Live Oak High School. He furthered his education at Louisiana State University and then enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served at the NSA as a Slavic Cryptologic Linguist fluent in Russian. After his time in the service, Jeff returned to graduate school in South Carolina where he graduated with honors from Sherman College of Chiropractic in 2004. He went on to successfully adjust thousands of patients suffering from pain related to the spinal cord. Jeff was a high achiever and loved helping people, which is evident in his many accomplishments in life. Jeff leaves behind his mother, Mary Christian-Allen, father, Alvin Allen, older sister, Jennifer Allen-Good, younger sister and her husband, Sara and Michael Scott McCumsey, nephews Christian Antle and Michael McCumsey, and nieces Luci, Bella, and Caroline McCumsey along with many family and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Bernice Lonquest-Guillory, Robert Christian, Bernice Ashley-Allen & Guy Allen. Jeff's family would like to extend gratitude to everyone who has shared in their grief during this time. Family and friends are welcome to visitation on Wednesday, November 28th from 5-8 pm and funeral services Thursday, November 29th at 11:30 am. Visitation and services will take place at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs with burial at the Veterans Louisiana National Cemetery in Zachary. Please share your condolence at

Deeply saddened to hear about this. I used to visit Dr Jeff when I was back in Atlanta. Jeff was a very passionate & experienced Chiropractor, a very good person and nice human being. I would spend atleast an hour speaking to him whenever I visit his clinic. Will miss Dr Jeff.May his soul rest in peace

Our condolences to the Allen Family and his friends. We have only known Dr Jeff the past two years and he was definitely a blessing! We have about three friends that frequented his chiropractic office in Atlanta. I would always laugh and joke around with him about how he saved my life! He did wonders on my back and spine and offered the BEST advice for my overall health. I was always praising his skills to my family and friends! No one can replace Dr Jeff! Again our deepest condolences to the Allen family! Peace

I just found out about Jeff's death today. I am without words to adequately say what a tragedy this is for such a young man to be called back so soon. He was a wonderful man, friends with everyone, always had a smile and time to talk with you. A open and kind personality and a diligent amazing chiropractor who was appreciated by everyone who knew him. I will miss him greatly. My condolences to the Allan family for their loss of their son/brother/nephew, I am so sorry and share in your sadness.

I only knew Dr. Jeff for a few months, as he was my newest Chiropractor. He was the most caring man and doctor I have ever had, warm and congenial. I was shocked by his passing and will miss him very much.

My heart goes out to the family as I send my deepest condolences. Peace be with each of his loved ones.

We are the Stephenson. We live in Conyers. We hadn't seen Jeff in awhile but he wasn't just a doctor he was our friend. Every visit we talked about the Lord. He loved the Lord , prayed confessed he gave his heart to Jesus and we know he was saved. He prayed for others & diligently try to help all who stepped into his life and business. He talked of his sister often and smiled because our family is Holiness. He talked about his dad and fishing. And how his mom could make the Mississippi mud pie. He came to our house to help my wife when she was sick . He had a very nuturing loving caring spirit for his brothers in Christ. He would go look up the problem for the antidote. We saw that he could Excel in whatever he needed to do. We are sorry for your loss because the world is a lesser place without his spirit to give guidance, friendship and we are heavy hearted at his passing. But death is not the final separation and we will see him again. He was a gift from God as a friend. We're praying for you and yours. To rest your mind that Jeff is at home with God. Because God's grace is sufficient enough for the disciples ask Jesus how do we know they are the brethren. And the living God said by the way they greet you and Jeff always greeted with love kind words and bearing kind fruits for his fellow man. Our son misses him and Jeff was dearly loved by our grandbabies. Their faces lit up when ever they saw him & ran to greet him.
