Jewel L. Willis, 86, passed away Monday, January 18, 2021, at his residence in Lebeau, LA. Jewel is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Gayle Templet Willis of Lebeau; three daughters, Lisa "Jewel" Fuss and her husband, Dale, Linda "Tiger" Gayle Ferrufino and her husband, Ernesto and Jeanne "Mooney" Therese Bryant-Penland and her husband, Lowell; a son, Jeffrey "Smokey" Martin Willis, all of Lafayette; his brother, George Willis and his wife, Sophie of Houston, TX; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and numerous dear nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan X. and Levoila Meche Willis; his brother, Daniel Willis and his sister, Jean Weber. Fountain Memorial Funeral Home and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
