Jewell Edward Traylor, Jr., passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the age of 79. He was a native of Pride, LA and resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Ed was the son of the late Jewell Edward Traylor, Sr. and Samina Eleanor (Rogillio) Traylor. He is survived by his children, Jewell Edward Traylor, III (Cheryl), Ashley Howard (Tim), Amy Nikolaus (Emily); stepchildren Allison Eberts (Greg), Angela Andrus (Frankie), Michael Brown (Brenda), Joette Musco, Laurie Gilpin (Jimmy); grandchildren Ainsley Hodgeson (Orey), Anne Marie Blount (Caleb), Seth Andrus, Sarah, Emma and Carson Howard, Dell Nikolaus, Evan, Elise, and Garrett Venable; brother Michael Traylor (Brenda) and sister Marilyn Durand (Elvin Ray). He is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Ed was preceded in death by his brothers David Traylor, Preston Traylor and stepchild Sandra B. McMorris. Ed was affectionately known as Goober to all of his grandchildren. He never missed his annual Thanksgiving fishing trips with his great friend Butch Bertucci and has many great memories with lifelong friend Chuck Langlois. Ed's humor and quick wit will not be forgotten. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 9 at 10 a.m. at Roselawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations can be made to
