Mrs.Peggy : I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Mr. John. The good Lord will get you through these times. I only met Mr. John one time. I knew his parents very well. His Da d was my Dads Major in WW 2. They were dear friends of my family for many years. Keeping you in my prayers.

I've known Doc since I was 8 years old. My parents built a house just across the street. I could spend hours telling stoirie about our ventures and endavors, most of which are now past the statue of limitations. Doc was more than a friend, he was family. Doc, Bill Latimer, and I were the 3 amigos of Steele Blvd. Like all family, we had our ups and downs, our good and bad, our happy and sad, most were on the positive side. Doc had a wonderful sense of humor that proceeded him. Sorry, I am a very sentimental, and emotional person, and have shed many a tear over Doc's passing, but now I know he is in a better place and no longer in pain. Rest in Peace my friend. I hope to see you again when I take the same journey that you have just taken. You are loved and will be sincerely missed. Love you man.

I am so saddened by the loss of my friend Doc. I will miss his posts on Facebook about so many things. Because his dad and my dad had a long friendship, I feel a deep loss of a friend. May the Lord comfort his beloved family.
