A resident of Denham Springs passed away early Monday, August 13, 2018 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 73 and retired as an Operator from Exxon and later went on to work for AutoZone in Denham Springs. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 beginning at 10:00am. Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm with burial to follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife of twenty-five years, Joyce Caraway, daughter, Lea Caraway, two stepsons; Scott Frazier and wife Colleen Cieslinski Frazier, and Tony Frazier and wife Dana Rodriguez Frazier, stepdaughter, Cindy Frazier Milling and husband Collier, seven grandchildren; Joseph, Jessica, Nicholas and wife Katie, Erin and husband Dustin, Hannah and husband Blair, Emily and husband Blake, and Brett, two great-grandchildren; Elliot, and baby Hebert, brother, Roy Caraway, sister, Penny Roberts, aunt Lizzie Mae Long, and his fur babies; LuLu, and Redman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Virgie Caraway, his son, Jay Caraway, and brother-in-law, Kernell Roberts, and his pets; Bingo and Beautiful. "Not a sparrow falls that the Father does not know about" definitely applies for John's passing. My life was blessed to have known and worked with him at the BR ExxonMobil Chem Plant. May God also be with you and yours during these trying times as he now is with John.

I worked with Mr John at 260. He was a great man. He never would let me change out a battery in a car. He would say no mam I'll take care of that! Very hard working man. Glad I had the honor of knowing him.
