Josh Ivy, Jr., 81, passed away with family by his side on February 16, 2021, at his home in St. Francisville, La. Josh was born in Crosby, Mississippi, the son of Josh Ivy, Sr. and Ada McDaniel Ivy. He proudly served in the US Army and was stationed in Korea where he met his beautiful wife and soulmate. He was also a member of the Boilermakers union and retired from the State of La Forensic Facility in Jackson. He was preceded by his loving wife Kuncha Ivy, father Josh Ivy, Sr., mother Ada McDaniel Ivy, grandson Corey Ivy; brothers – Jessie, Harold, Fred, Curtis and David. Sisters – Velma Crum, Ruth Stokes, Mary Lou Temple, and Dixie Goldman. He is survived by his daughters, Carolyn Bourgeois, Mary Dufour and her husband Chris, Ginger Ivy and her life partner Lynn Jones, granddaughter Meagen Quave and her husband Derek and great granddaughter Mila Quave – all who love him dearly. Josh will be greatly missed. His warm heart and infectious smile always made him a joy to be around. His selflessness, generosity and love will remain with us for the rest of our lives. His family will be celebrating his life and honoring him on Saturday, February 20, 2021, at 2:00 p.m., at Roseland Cemetery in Gloster, Mississippi, his final resting place.
