Joyce Waldron Bugea, 84, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away on March 2, 2018 at Circle of Life Hospice Home at Legacy Village in Bentonville, Arkansas. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on March 31, 1933 to James Francis and Anne (Simoneaux) Waldron. She distinguished herself as an honor student at the Academy of the Holy Angels in New Orleans, which she attended on a full academic scholarship. A resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana for over 50 years, she was an active member and neighbor of Saint Thomas More Catholic Church. For many years, her clear, soothing voice provided the recorded messages that were heard by bank customers. Her greatest passion was her family, and she had a talent for sewing and making decorated cakes. Joyce is survived by a daughter, Anne Bugea Saullo of Rogers, Arkansas, a daughter and son-in-law, Amy Bugea Tricou and Mike of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a son, David Bugea of Rogers, Arkansas, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Donald John Bugea, Sr., a son, Donald John Bugea, Jr., and a daughter, Andrea Bugea Tricou. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, from 12:00PM until the time of funeral service at 2:00pm.
