Kelvin U. "Black" Montgomery entered into eternal rest in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Friday, January 8, 2021. He was a 49 year old native of Zachary, Louisiana and a native of Baton Rouge. Viewing at Miller & Daughter Mortuary, Friday, January 15, 2021 from 3-7:00 pm; due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private service conducted by Pastor Gary T. Porter will be held at Miller & Daughter on Saturday, January 16, 2021; interment at Southern Memorial Gardens. Survivors include his mother, Ruth P. Montgomery; son, Romello U. Francois; brothers, Carl and Kyle (twin) Montgomery; fiancé' Danita C. Cage; and her children, Dez, De'Jon and Wendell; other relatives and friends.

To Mrs. Ruth & Montgomery family,

Kevin was a genuine real smooth type of guy. He and Danita help me through a hard time not thinking twice or wanting anything in return. He was a real and will truly be missed.

Shalom, Kelvin aka Black was such a sweet person every since we were kids in elementary school. I’m saddened at his departure and pray it would have never happened but is coming to grips of it slowly. I pray for God to strengthen this family especially his mom.
