Kenneth Alton Browning died at his home in Denham Springs on January 23, 2019. He was born in Baton Rouge on August 11, 1953 to Janice (Holeman) Browning & Pryor Eugene Browning. After graduating from Baker High School in 1971 and completing one semester at LSU, Ken decided college life was simply not for him. He worked at Baker Bank & Trust for several years, followed by computer related jobs with Dow Chemical & the State of Louisiana. In 1972 he married Kathy Berthelot (husband Randy Krumholt). After their two daughters married, Ken & second wife Sharon White of B.R. moved to Holiday Isle, Arkansas deep in the picturesque Ozark Mountains. Returning to Louisiana on his own for what would be the final chapter of his life, Ken accepted employment with Wal Mart, then the Livingston Parish School System. Although a hard-working man who was on the job the day before he died, Ken knew how to enjoy life: he could be found many a fall Saturday afternoon atop North Stadium Hill cheering on his beloved LSU Tiger Band and football team. Other weekend evenings were spent grace-fully waltzing or Cajun two-stepping 'round many a rustic dance floor in south Louisiana. Being quite the consummate dancer, Ken never lacked for a willing partner. Ken is survived by daughters Jessica Diaville & son-in-law Brad, Alissa Collins & son-in-law Daniel, grandchildren Morgan, Madison & Mason Diaville, grandchildren Jared, Jacob, Levi & Ellie Collins, sister Janene Wacker & husband Jerry, brothers Drew & wife Judy Brady of Kaysville, UT and Wes & wife Marilyn of St. Louis, MO, niece Erin Delany & nephew Danny Richard. Ken's keen sense of humor and infectious laughter will be missed by seven surviving first cousins & their spouses, aunts Anne Zumo Holeman & Audrey Glaser Browning & extended family & friends. Ken's cremains will be interred at Greenoaks Cemetery adjacent to his beloved parents and nephew Michael David Delany Jr. Donations may be made in memory of Kenneth Browning to Riverside Baptist Church of Denham Springs Louisiana (36890, LA Hwy 16, Denham Springs 70706). We will miss you dear son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, co-worker and friend.

May our Father in Heaven welcome you home with open arms.
Your journey here on earth may be over, but your memories will befriend us, comfort us, and guide us for a very long time to come.
We made friends in high school, but lost touch when i went to defend our country.
Upon coming home i found Kenny as a employee at my bank. Didn't see that coming.
Now fifty years later, i hear you hung out the "gone fishing" sign.
Old friend, with the Lords blessing.
He will make you a fisherman of men as you walk with him.
Go in peace my friend and keep in touch.
