I was shocked to hear of Leslie's passing. We were friends 20 years ago in Austin, TX, when we both worked at the TX Worker's Compensation Commission. Leslie was smart, wickedly funny, and fun. She'll definitely be missed.

Hi all- I was as shocked as you to hear of Leslie's passing. She and I were close in college but never saw much of each other after. She was a vibrant, funny, loving woman who always shared her knowledge in life and loved her friends, family and animals. She will be missed dearly. Condolences to Cliff and the Hodge family. I hope we can all mourn and support each other. We lost a real good one... RIP Leslie.

What a light lost! I haven't talked to Leslie much since college but kept up through a few good mutual friends. She lived out loud - one of the most witty, hilarious, outrageous people - but always in a great way. Such a tragedy. Hoping for comfort and strength for those she left behind.

I am absolutely heartbroken. Leslie was a dear friend. I met her through work and we shared a love for animals. Her personality and laugh were infectious. I truly enjoyed being in her company. She was one-of-a-kind. My thoughts and prayers are with Cliff and her family.
