Lillie Marie Musso Territo, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019, after a brief illness at the age of 90. Lillie was a native of Sunshine, LA and the youngest of seven children. She graduated from St. Gabriel High School and married Joseph S. Territo, Sr. They made their home in Baton Rouge and were founding members of St. Jude the Apostle Church parish. Lillie loved caring for her family, especially cooking spaghetti and meatballs every Sunday. But most of all, she enjoyed spending time with all her family. She was beloved by all who were genuinely graced and blessed by her perennial kind and gentle nature. Lillie leaves behind six children: Rose Mary Territo Wilhelm (Bill), Marion A. Territo, Joseph S. Territo, Jr. (Tina), David A. Territo (Dana), Samuel K. Territo (Elizabeth) and Patricia M. Territo; seven grandchildren: David "DJ" Territo (Ashley), Kevin J. Territo, Hunter E. Territo (Ashley), Christopher A. Wilhelm, Sean N. Wilhelm (Christy), Samantha J. Territo and Madeline E. Territo, and three great-grandchildren: Collin, Brynn and Ellis Territo. She is also survived by brothers-in-law, A.J. Territo (Karen) and Emile Rabito; godchild, Vincent Musso, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Joseph S. Territo, Sr., and her parents, Mariano and Marie Mumphrey Musso, sisters, Lena LeBlanc and Camella Denicola; brothers Dr. Joseph, Tony, Frank and Vincent Musso. The family requests visiting hours be observed at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government Street, on Tuesday, January 8 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, with recitation of the rosary at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue at St Jude the Apostle Church, 9150 Highland Rd., on Wednesday, January 9 beginning at 9:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am to be celebrated by Rev. David Allen. Burial will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be David "DJ" Territo, Hunter Territo, Christopher Wilhelm, Sean Wilhelm, Vincent Musso, Frank Musso, Victor Musso, Ronald LeBlanc and John Denicola. Honorary Pallbearers are Kevin J. Territo, Ellis A. Territo and Peter A. Territo, Jr. Gift bearers will be Samantha, Madeline, Collin and Brynn Territo. Readers will be Ashley S. Territo and Ashley C. Territo. The family gratefully acknowledges the staff at Hospice in His Care, especially Pierre Baker, Brenda McKenzie and Kristen Mayeaux and the caregivers at Griswold Home Care. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Alzheimer's Services of the Capital Area, 3772 North Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA 70806.
