Louis Dixon Jr., a native of Mccrea and a resident of New Roads was called to glory on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at his residence by his loving wife. Visitation services Friday, April 9 at 152 Hwy 3050, Morganza, La from 3 to 6 pm and on Saturday, April 10 at Philadelpha Christian Ministries, 7317 Hanks Dr., Baton Rouge, La from 9 am until religious service at 11 a.m. Interment at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in New Roads. Louis Dixon Jr. known as "Daddy Dixon" was born to the late Louis and Doretha Dixon in McCrae, Louisiana on August 26, 1947. On August 24, 1968 he was united in Holy Matrimony to the love of his life, Burnidean Flower Dixon and from this union they were blessed with one son and two daughters. Daddy Dixon will be missed dearly, but his memory will live on through his children, Louis Dixon III (Courtney) Baton Rouge, LA, Melissa Dailey Lettsworth, LA, and Katherine Weir Chatman (Chad) Baton Rouge, LA; sisters Hester Landheart and Mary Holmes Houston, TX; brothers Tyrone Dixon (Tammy), Authur Lee Dixon, Matthew Dixon, Jerry C.
