Not sure what to say?

She was a great playmate back when I was around 13th. She will be in my memory from child hood even though I knew her for a few years.

Aunt Lou was "one of a kind!" Always there when you needed her and there was not a more compassionate and loving person than Aunt Lou. She looked beautiful at Aunt Buddy's birthday and it was so good seeing her and everybody. Aunt Lou will be greatly missed and always loved.

There are some people from your childhood who make a lasting impression on your heart. For me, Miss Lou Digirolamo, was one of those people. She was always kind, funny, and ready to extend hospitality at any given time. Her southern phrase, "Ya'll come on in" was a hallmark. Always a warm heart with something cooking on the stove. We are praying for the entire family to experience the peace of God that passes all understanding and for His Holy Spirit to envelope and comfort them during this difficult time of loss.

Miss Lou is the definition of "A Real Southern Lady." She always made you feel welcome in her home and treated you like one of her own. Ms. Lou and Mr. Joe raised a fine family with solid moral values (and great shoes!). I feel very fortunate to have known Ms. Lou, and will remember her as always having a wonderful sense of humor and a huge heart. Celebrate her life the same way she lived it. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I'm sorry to hear of Aunt Lou's passing. I have such fond memories when I was very young and went with the Passman's to visit her. My last meeting with her was a year or so ago at Mama Gayle's when all of the sisters got together. Aunt Lou was beautiful inside and out and was always happy. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.

I am a very fortunate person to have met and loved Ms Lou. I know you are celebrating her life as much as you are the loss of a wife , mother, and grandmother. The things that stand out in my mind about this lady were her great cooking , her dolls, her shoes, and her jewelry. I know of no other lady that had so much style in her humor, the way she dressed, the way she cooked and had you at her table and most of all her faith. My fondest memories are of the first few months I came to know Ms. Lou and her wonderful family.Idiscovered a house full of dolls , a closet full of shoes , and more jewelry than is offered at any department store in Baton Rouge today.

Having lived life to its fullest amongst all of us she has gone on to re-arrange things in heaven for us all. St Peter might be afraid of losing his job as she arrives at those pearly gates.

I will physically be out of town on Wednesday but will be all of you in mind, and prayer.

My love to all.

My heart is sad that my LouLou had to go, but so happy for her to not be in pain . She has played such a big part in my entire 61 years and I cannot imagine that she won't be there in body. I baby sat all four of her children, Needless to say I spent alot of my life with this precious lady. When she wanted to see me she would call and say "When you coming Lion, I'm lonesome for you" (Lion was her pet name for me, it was given to me because Aunt Lou's grandmother Dommie couldn't remember my name was DiAnne, so Lion just stuck). How could you not go see her and love every minute you had with her. We shared so many secrets, it was just so natural to tell her whatever was going on. She was one popular lady, even when she had to use her walker to get around it would take forever to get in and out of church with her because everyone wanted to speak to her and it made her happy. She was my Mother's best friend, they played together as children, she was so many peoples best friend. She mothered her children with so much love and was a wonderful wife to Uncle Joe, his Queen. You will be missed by everyone Aunt Lou, but in my heart your going to live forever.

Uncle Joe, Dwayne, Margo, Sonia & Tonia my thoughts and prayers are with you all today and always.

I Love Y'all,
Lion (Dianne LeCoq Faust)

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of such a wonderful person. Mrs. Lou and Mr. Joe were a big part of my childhood. I know your family is hurting. But just think she and my dad (Clyde Kirby) are probably having a hugh belly laugh together now. She will surely be missed by me and so many others.
