I am saddened to hear that Mr. Luke has passed away. I had the pleasure of having him for a friend and loved hearing his stories of bluegrass and country music of the good days when country music was still country. Although Mr. Luke was famous for building mandolins I was lucky enough to get him to build a beautiful guitar for me made of wood he had gathered throughout the years. Mr. Luke will be missed by many but one thing is for sure. God will now have some wonderful bluegrass music.
