So sorry to hear about you mother. This is Stephanie Collins. I went to school with you guys and I lived on Elm Grove Drive. You guys had a beautiful mother inside and outside. I use to come to you guys house all the time. My sister Valentina were the same age as Veronica. She is the one called me and told me about your mother. You guys are beautiful girls just like your mother. I remember your brother Henry being a real shy boy in high school. I will reach out and get in touch with you guys soon. Please know your mother will always be with you guys from heaven and you guys will meet again. When ever I knocked on you guys door looking for Arlene or Darlene she were so sweet and kind. Wow I remember so many good memories with you guys. I lost my mother to long ago. So I understand what you ALL are feeling at this moment. I have a different last name now. Thou I will be in touch ok. Love you ALL from my heart! ( Mrs. Mary raised some wonderful children).

May God Be With You All Always,

Stephanie Collins and Valentina Collins from (Elm Grove Garden Drive) Baton Rouge,La

David your brother ‘ remembering the last time we talked you said with such delight , and radiant laughter. My brother called to check on me, asking how am I doing? However, having a love one pass on is difficult. It makes us confront the reality that our lives here is fragile. I pray for our family, who is hurting, because we will not see your smiling face, or hear your radiant voice. God will comfort us, with His peace and Love. Thank You Lord for our connections and relationships of family, friends. David & Ruthie P. Coates

Madea, my sweet dear mother, you have left my heart broken in so many pieces, words can’t express how much you are presently missed and will be in the days ahead. You were such a ray of light that was always shining so bright. I will miss your vibrant smile along with all of your wisdom and knowledge not to mention all of the quality time we spent together, from fixing your hair so pretty, to going shopping, going out to eat or just taking a ride are some of the things i will truly miss but I know your time on this earth was well spent so God in his infinite wisdom called you home. I just thank him for the time he allowed you to be with us. I will see you again in that eternal life where dying will be no more but until then sleep on and take your rest. I love you with all my heart...Darlene

Mrs Mary such a beautiful woman with such a beautiful smile and laughter. Never was there ever a time in my life when around you from a child to a woman with children of my own did I never see that smile. I had just told Veronica that you had been fussing at me because I hadn’t been to your house to visit since you moved to Baker. Every time I saw you you would ask about mom and mom would always ask about you I had just told Veronica I’m going to your house and bringing mom with me how you had been getting on me but God had other plans for you. He says in John 14 vrs 2 and 3 that he wanted me to visit you in your mansion instead . in that place that was prepared for you and I and mom and Mrs Mary mom and I will be there one day. Home ,visiting with you in your Mansion in our Father’s house.
Love you Mrs Mary

Mary, I carry a heavy heart these days. You were like a sister to me and I always enjoyed spending time with you in laugher and just in simple talk. I miss you dearly today, tomorrow, and forever more, however I know God has called you home for eternal rest. I look forward to the day when we will all reunite on the other side, so until then I will light a candle for you, and rest in peace my sister.

Love you,

Darlene & family, We are so sorry for your loss. God saw Mrs. Mary getting tired, wrapped her in his loving arms and whispered, "Come with me." She fought the good fight in silence, her spirit did not bend. She faced her illness with courage, until the end. She tried so hard to stay with you all, but her fight was not in vain, God took her to his loving home and freed her from the pain. May God continue to strengthen you all during this difficult time. God bless you all.

Madea you’ve finally got your wings that you deserved. I’m proud to have shared 28 years of my life with you on earth. I hope to some day have your strength, attitude and grace that you always showed. You had an effect everyone that you came in contact. “Ked your grandmother and mom are some strong women” many would say. I would always love to hear that, that was a compliment to me. When it was announced that we would be losing you, I was never sad or worried. I’m happy you got to live your full life, most don’t make it that far. January 1st we lost a grandmother, mom, aunt, friend etc and gained another angel. RIP
