Mary Ella Bradford, 87, a native of Plaquemine and resident of Donaldsonville, LA, she spent her childhood on Palo Alto Plantation. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. Mary Ella had a passion for fashion and was always dressed to make a statement. She could always be found in the kitchen making sure that everyone was fed. Mary Ella was a selfless woman who went above and beyond for her family and community. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of sixty five years, August Filmore Bradford; three children, Keith Joseph Bradford Sr. and wife, Anner, Mark Paul Bradford, and Darlene Elizabeth Bradford; three grandchildren, Keith Joseph Bradford Jr., Jessica Bradford Guillote and husband, Wayne Sr., and Christopher David Bradford and husband, Jonathan; five great grandchildren, Melaina Bradford, Valerie Guillote, Wayne Guillote Jr., Lucy Guillote, and Jaycob Bradford and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Sarah Acosta; biological father, John Medine Sr.; father, Stewart Hanson; one great grandson, WiIliam Bradford; three siblings, John "BooBoo" Medine Jr., Armide Medine, and Gloria Medine Lirette. A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Donaldsonville from 9 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Interment will follow at Ascension Catholic Mausoleum in Donaldsonville.
