Mary Kathleen "Sissee" Grace Reinhardt of Plaquemine passed away peacefully on August 10, 2018 after a brief illness. She was surrounded by her children, Kathleen Sparks of Plaquemine, LA, Karen Barry of Cambridge, MA (William), Kirsh Kronenberg (Mark) of Metairie, LA, and William Michael Reinhardt III of Baton Rouge, LA. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents William Laughlin Grace, Jr. and Mary Barnett Grace both of Plaquemine, her older brother, William Laughlin Grace III of Thibodaux, son-in-law Harold Glenn Sparks and grandson Hayes Barnett Sparks both of Plaquemine. She is survived by her children and seven grandsons. Hamilton and Harrison Sparks of Plaquemine, William and Andre' Barry of Cambridge, Conley and Brenan Kronenberg of Metairie and Jacob Reinhardt of Plaquemine and her former husband William Michael Reinhardt of Plaquemine, her younger sister, Genevieve Grace Mills and husband PJ of New Orleans, younger brother James Ellis Grace, MD and wife Dianne of Plaquemine and her sister-in-law, Sandra Grace of Thibodaux. She was Aunt Si to 17 nieces and nephews. Sissee attended St. John Elementary School in Plaquemine, the Academy of the Sacred Heart (Class of '54) in New Orleans and graduated from Louisiana State University in 1957. She was an active member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Visitation will be at St. John the Evangelist Catholic from 1:00 pm until Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, August 14, 2018. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
