Mary Lou passed away on September 19, 2018, at the Crossing at Clarity Hospice, at the age of 76, surrounded by her family. She was a native of Plaquemine and resident of Baton Rouge. Mary Lou was a loving mother and caregiver. Visiting will be at St. John the Evangelist in Plaquemine on Saturday, Sept. 22nd, from 10:30 a.m. until memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 p.m. Burial of ashes will follow in the church cemetery. Mary Lou is survived by her children, Eugene ""Gene"" Aucoin of Wesson, MS, Jason Aucoin and companion Ann Iverson of Baton Rouge, and Candi Aucoin and husband Dave Vendur of Denham Springs; sister, Wanda LeClercq Chabert and husband Raleigh of Cut Off; two grandchildren, Nicole Van Norman and husband Chauncey, Danielle Aucoin; four great-grandchildren, Haley and Breanna Van Norman, and Presley and Jude Delatte. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her father, Wilson LeClercq; mother, Lydia Parque LeClercq; two sisters, Barbara R. Verret and Linda L. Benoit; and one great-grandchild, Adalynn Delatte. The Family would like to thank the staff at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice.
