She was a devoted wife and loving mother of 12 children raised on Beech Street in North Baton Rouge. The School Sisters of Notre Dame taught Mom to play the organ when she was a young girl at St. Gerard Majella Catholic School. She devoted her life to playing the organ at St. Gerard and most recently at St. Agnes and on occasion at St. Aloysius Catholic Church. We wish to thank the Our Lady of the Lake staff and St. Joseph Hospice for the love and care of our very special mother. ""Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil… Strength and honor are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. "" Proverbs.
