Patricia Garrard, 87, a native and resident of Thibodaux, Louisiana passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018. A visitation will be held in her honor on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Thibodaux Funeral Home, Thibodaux, LA from 5:00pm until 9:00pm and on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, Thibodaux, LA from 9:00am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am. The burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Thibodaux, LA. She is survived by her sons, Michael C. Garrard of Baton Rouge and J. Mitchell Garrard of Thibodaux; daughters, Beth Garrard Perque of Gretna, Rachel Garrard Whitefield of Austin, Texas, and Renee Garrard Knight of Thibodaux; and her brother, John McCollum of Thibodaux. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, Jennifer Garrard Himel, Jeremy Garrard, Cherie Perque Hollingsworth, Patrick Perque, Cree Garrard, Christian Knight, Jill Knight, Jacob Whitefield, Elizabeth Garrard, Lucas Whitefield; and five great-grandchildren, Caleb Garrard, Rian Perez, Veda Himel, Maddixx Perque and Ayden Garrard. She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Garrard; and her parents, John McCollum and Lillian McCollum. Special acknowledgement and appreciation goes to all of our family, friends and care professionals who supported us in this time of need.
