Paul Frank Rodriguez Jr. was welcomed into the arms of his Heavenly Father early morning on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at 76 years of age. A loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he spent many of his days sharing the love of Christ with those around him. He retired from Shell Oil after many years and had many successful careers thereafter, most formidably his own heating and air conditioning business. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, doing yard work, and most of all spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Christine Hayward Rodriguez; children Paula Rodriguez and friend Melodie Sparks, Travis Rodriguez and fiancé Gwen Fairburn, George Rodriguez and wife Jill, and Chrissie Rodriguez Babin and husband Larry, grandchildren Linna Rodriguez, Brittany Rodriguez Daigrepont and husband Derrick, Christa Babin Clift and husband Bryce, Gabriel Babin and wife Mackenzie, Hannah Babin Puryear and husband Jacob, Cassidy Rodriguez, Noah Babin, Aaliya Rodriguez, and Destiny Rodriguez; great-grandchildren Ellie, Lyndi, and Rhemi Daigrepont, and Malcolm and Solomon Clift; sisters, Catherine Bradley and husband Dewit, and Joyce Core. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Frank Sr. and Aline Rodriguez; sisters, Josie Bercegeay and Mamie Cude; brothers, C.A. Hammet and Richard Rodriguez. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2021 from 5pm till 8pm and will resume on Monday, October 18, 2021 at 9am until service at 11am at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, La. Burial will be at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Cemetery, Donaldsonville, La. Officiated by George Rodriguez. Pallbearers will be Travis Rodriguez, Larry Babin, Gabriel Babin, Noah Babin, Derrick Daigrepont, and Mike Fuller. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Vineyard Lake Charles Church 9541 Gulf Highway, Lake Charles, La. 70607, to purchase Bibles. Arrangements by Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, La.
