Dominguez Jr., Paul Milton
Paul M. Dominguez, Jr. of River Ridge, LA passed away on April 24, 2021 at the age of 83. Paul proudly served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a barber for 62 years at The Peacock, Westgate, and West Napoleon Barbershops. For 30 years, he was a supervisor at the LA Superdome and UNO Lake Front Arena. Paul was a member of St. Matthew the Apostle and St. Albert the Great (TN) Church. Paul is survived by his daughter, Beth D. Motto (Greg); grandchildren, Jessica and Joseph Motto, and nephews, Louis and Paul Cureau and family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lauralyn Dominguez; parents, Anna and Paul Dominguez Sr., and his sister, Elaine Cureau. A funeral service will be held for Paul on Tuesday, May 11 at St. Matthew the Apostle Church, 10021 Jefferson Hwy. River Ridge, LA 70123. Visitation will be held from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm with a mass officiated by Fr. Lee Poche to follow. Inurnment with a veteran's honor ceremony will follow the mass at the All Saints Mausoleum in Metairie Cemetery, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124. A memorial mass will be held at St. Albert the Great at a later date. The family would like to thank everyone for their love and support. Paul was a good person and family man who will be missed. He has cut my hair and been a close friend for 45 years. I will miss his humor and insight.
