Reverend Paul W. Carter died peacefully in Pleasant Valley Nursing Home, Little Rock, AR on 9/10/18. He is survived by his wife, Margurite Carter, née Reeves; his son, Mark, his daughter Diana Ladmirault; 19 grand-children spanning 3 generations; and his sisters Jacqueline Woltman and Rebecca Mebert. He is preceded in death by his eldest son, Stephen. Born on 12/11/30, in Richmond, VA, to John Paul and Evelyn King Carter, Paul married in 1950. He and Margurite spent 68 years together rearing a family and making a wonderful life. A Korean War era Vet, he had a BA from Lynchburg College and studied Seminary at SMU and Duke. In 1952, he followed his calling to be a Methodist Minister for 35 plus years. He was a remarkable man, kind and generous, with love of family, commitment to community and passion for his ministry.
