Philip Loret Obituary

Philip Joseph Conrad Loret, 73, loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Joseph Arthur Loret and Catherine Percy; wife Madel Loret, and brother, Robert Percy. A resident of Livingston, Texas, and a lifelong native of Baton Rouge, he was born on October 22, 1948 at Lady of the Lake Hospital. He was known for his quick wit and pride in being a wordsmith. A charismatic man who was loyal to his friends and family and would give you the shirt off his back. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Mindi Loret; daughter Michelle Loret (Kevin), Houston, T.X.; son and Navy veteran Philip Thomas Loret (Marriott), Rock Hill, SC; stepson Damien Metrailer, Baton Rouge; two sisters, Yolanda Loret and Isabel Loret, Baton Rouge; sisters-in-law: Anne Ellis, Dianne Bennett and Madeline McAndrew; nieces and nephews, Loret Fremin (Francis); Brian Wilson (Allyson); Conrad Wilson (Dara); Michael Thomas McAndrews, and granddaughters Kyndall and Catherine Loret. A memorial service was held on January 19, 2022, in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas.
