Philip "Phil" Lucien Derbigny, age 73, of Ponchatoula died on Friday, June 7, 2019. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 15 at 12:30 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Ponchatoula. Arrangements entrusted to Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Homes, Ponchatoula.

Nianza, this is Sister Alberta Adam's grand daugter Leverne of What you to be called North Unit. And just wanted to know I am very said my brother has temporarily departed from us. But wanted to send my love to family, with prayer that Jehovah watches over and direct you in life from here . And so sorry about Phillip and his plight in this life. Now he is at peace ,free from pain. We all look forward to seeing him again and do ad Jesus always said "Let it be this way at this time. So very sorry to hear of your family's sorrow. Offering prayer for your peace of mind again. Agape my sister.

Ponchatoula congregation will not be the same without Phil. He was such a spiritual brother full of love, so happy to have had him with us since Katrina. Glad he's not suffering, just sleeping til Jehovah calls him back to life under Kingdom rule.
