A U S Army Veteran, and a retired operator at Triad Chemical Plant passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at his home. He was 71 and a resident of Donaldsonville. Visiting 5-7 PM on Friday, September 21, 2018, at Demby & Son Funeral Home, Donaldsonville. Visitation continues 9 AM on Saturday, September 22, 2018, at Greater Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church, 926 St. Patrick St., Donaldsonville, until religious services at 11AM, conducted by Rev. Timothy Campbell, Sr., Pastor. Interment in Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Cemetery, Donaldsonville. He is survived by his devoted wife of 36 years, Veronica "Vee" Johnson; daughters, Kimberlyn P. Johnson and Thiawanlonica C. Johnson; a son Reginald (Keisha) Johnson Jr.; 3 sisters, Linder C. Johnson, Gladiola Spencer and Yaschica M. Wilson; 5 brothers, Wellington "Buck," Gerald, Roy Larry, Theodore "Buck" and Lawrence "Sonny King" Johnson; 9 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore "Buck" and Lillie Julien Johnson. He was a member of the Usher Board at Great Mt.
