Robert Pierre Landry, 76, a lifelong resident of Paincourtville, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2020. A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Paincourtville, Louisiana from 9:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. The burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Paincourtville, Louisiana. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Judy R. Landry; children, Zach Landry and wife, Amy, Cade Landry and wife, Tabby, and Cachet L. Mitchell and husband, Thomas; grandchildren, Blaze Landry, Amelia Landry, and Luke and Jake Mitchell; sisters, Alma Thibodeaux, Carole Bullock; brothers, Joseph Landry (Mary), Carl Landry (Mavis), Allen Landry (Lynn), Elliot Landry (Lelia), Chris Landry (Alma); numerous nieces and nephews; and special extended family members close to his heart. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cullen Landry and Alma Rousseau Landry; siblings, Camille Reavis, Emmett Landry Sr., Elaine L. Theriot Fastring, and Clyde Landry; and his special extended parents, Luke and Beulah Melancon. He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served during the Vietnam Era and retired from the Assumption Parish School board.
