Robert Ronald Cate (Bob) passed away peacefully on Friday, April 9 at the age of 75 at Carpenter House after a brave six-month battle with lung cancer. Robert was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. Bob was preceded in death by his parents Evelyn and Otto Cate and brother Brad Cate. He is survived by his wife Judith Cate; brother Bruce Cate (JoDee) and sister Bobbette Behrens (Scott); sons Michael Cate(Jessica) and Robert Scott Cate-Cribari (Jill); daughter Carol Hill (David); stepsons Curtis Schoech (Emily), William Schoech (Julia), and James Schoech (Tawnya); stepdaughter Ann Allgood; grandchildren Dylan Cate, Bryce Cate, Alexandria Scholtz, Sebastian Cate-Cribari, Louden Cate-Cribari, Otto Cate-Cribari, Rosemary Cate-Cribari, Angelo Cate-Cribari, Michael Schoech, Matthew Schoech, Brandon Schoech, Emily Diamond, and Rory Schoech as well as numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews/nieces, and great-grandchildren. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. The memorial service will be arranged at a later date.
