Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of one of his saints. Psalm 116:15. Pastor Rev. Dr. Roosevelt Nolan joined his son in heaven on Monday, February 8, 2021, at our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center at the age of 79. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, a native of White Castle, Louisiana, and a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. On Wednesday, February 24, 2021, a walk-through will be held at the New Christ Land Baptist Church, 5685 Robertson Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. where Pastor Nolan pastored for 28 years faithfully. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, religious services will be private and live-streamed on Winnfield Funeral Home, Baton Rouge, Louisiana website at 12 noon on Thursday, February 25, 2021, Rev. Perry Wright Jr., Pastor /Teacher of Promise Land Baptist Church will officiate the services. Interment: Winnfield Memorial Park Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70811.
