Rosa Agnes Amorello Davis, a native and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Williamsburg Retirement Center at the age of 95. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin L. Davis; her parents Joseph Amorello & Rosalia "Rosa" Alesce Amorello, four brothers, Tony, Joseph, Phillip & Michael Amorello, three sisters, Crucie LaSage, Mary Amorello & Sister Mary Rose "Madeline" Amorello; granddaughter, Tricia Voth. Rosa is survived by her daughter, Cathy (Tim) Samaha; son, Patrick (Gwen Cunningham) Davis; four grandchildren, Michael (Resa) Davis, Donnielle Brown, Matthew Davis & Tim (Amber) Samaha, Jr.; nine great-grandchildren, John, Brock, Brittany, Bill, Shelby, Sarah, Mary, Lucy Ann & Jonathan, eight great-great-grandchildren and sister-in-law, Mary Ann Russo Amorello. Family and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial which will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 445 Marquette Avenue, Baton Rouge, LA. on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 10 am. Burial will follow in Resthaven Garden of Memories. Pallbearers will be Joseph "Scooter" Amorello, Sr., Michael Davis, Tim Samaha, Jr., John Davis, Brock Davis and Bill Dazet. Special thanks to Bridgeway Hospice and Rosa's numerous caregivers. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to dementia research or charity of your choice.
