Rosa Lee "Nuse" Rogers-Davis, passed with peace and grace on October 24, 2018, surrounded by the love of her family. Full of life, her laughter was contagious. Rosa loved to entertain and was always ready to snap a picture and record home videos. She enjoyed traveling, entertaining and sewing. An avid gardener who took pride in her yard and spending time with her family while doing so. Rosa met everyone with big heart and a bigger smile. In 1955, Rosa was the 7th child of The Late, Henry and Doretha Jackson Rogers. Graduate of Istrouma High and Louisiana Technical College. Rosa, whose greatest passion was helping others, was a faithful member of Jubilee Christian Center Church. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and as "Momo" a grandmother who didn't mind spoiling her grandkids. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Jimmy Davis; daughters, Kowana Danielle, Yolanda Chantel and Jamie Rochelle Davis; grandchildren, Kristopher Justin, McKenzie Lee Rose, Khristan, and Kaleb; sisters Callena J. Varmall and Linda K. Rogers; her brothers, Leroy King, Lionel Beauchamp, Charles Rogers, Kenny Rogers, Cecil Ray Rogers, and Herman Gilmore. Rosa was preceded in death by her sister Patricia Ann Rogers Lathan and her brothers Johnnie Lee Rogers, Mack Arthur Rogers, and Willie Jones. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at Jubilee Christian Center Church, 14595 Florida Boulevard, Baton Rouge from 9:00 AM until the Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 AM. Pastor Johnny Hollins, officiating. Interment located at Southern Memorial Gardens, 3012 Blount Road, Baton Rouge.
