Rufus Thompson, Jr. entered into eternal rest on January 6, 2021 at the age of 85. He was a native of LaCompte, LA and a Carpenter. Survived by his wife, Dorothy Thompson; 2 daughters; 9 sons; 1 brother and over 25 grandchildren. Visitation Friday, January 15, 2021 10:00 a.m. until religious service at 11:00 a.m., Oasis Christian Church, 4524 E. Brookstown Dr., Baton Rouge, LA. Bishop Charles E. Wallace officiating.
