Thanks for sharing your mom with us for 61 years. She was a second mother to me and my siblings. We will cherish the wonderful memories we have of Ruthie, George, Robert, LC and Darrell and our years living on Brightside Dr. for years to come. We were so blessed to have her in our lives and will miss her greatly. To George, LC, Robert, Darrell and the wonderful daughter in laws and the many grandchildren and great grandchildren, may God give you peace and comfort during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

For more than 60 years, Ruth Williams was not like a second mother to me, she was a second mother to me. When I was a child, she tended to my cuts and bruises. When I was a teenager, she made sure that I was properly dressed when I left the house to go out on dates. Throughout she helped mold my character. Her fried chicken was legendary and her lace cookies were to die for. I am grateful to her and to her family for all the time and attention that she gave to me and my siblings. On July 10, 2019, she left this Earth for a well-deserved rest with her Maker - to whom she was always a true and loyal servant. She will be sorely missed but joyously remembered. We love you Ruthie! And George, LC, Robert and Darriel - we share in your loss.
