Sally Elizabeth Guice, age 59, left her earthly presence, on Friday, August 2, 2019 at home surrounded by love, after a long battle with cancer. Sally was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick M. Guice and Pamela D. Guice. She leaves behind her wife, Kathy Eaton, brothers Miller Guice (Deborah Davis), Bryan Guice and David Guice (Beth Barron) and sister Cary Guice (Sandy Hunter), nephews and nieces, close friends and co-workers. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Thursday, October 17th from 5-8 pm at Audubon Clubhouse, 6500 Magazine St. Visiting family/viewing pictures and refreshments 5-6 with service beginning at 6 pm. Per Sally's wishes, please come to raise a glass, share stories and bad jokes, and bring a rock, which will be placed in her home rock garden. Feel free to bring pictures and please share memories of how she touched your life. In memory of Sally, suggested donations are to the Melanoma Research Foundation and National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

wow. went to school with her from kindergarten to 6th grade. Sorry to have missed her passing. She was one of my very best friends. She was a better athlete than me, but always was a reason to do better in the athletic field.

Sally mentored me an an undergraduate intern at Touro. She was so kind and welcoming toward me and all she worked with. I learned much from Sally. Her wit and wisdom got my through my internship and LSUMC Graduate School. I will carry her kind and spunky spirit in my heart forever. Sally you will be missed. My heartfelt condolences to Kathy and the Guice Family.

Sally will always be remembered first as one of the kindest person i met, but also her quick wit and sense of humor. I will always remember Sally's playfulness and sweet spirit. She will be missed by all.

Sally always had a way of lightening any difficult moment and help one keep things in perspective. She brightened my days many times. Her humor was contagious. Rest In Peace Sally.
