Retired senior vice president of Scott Construction Equip and Scott/Toyota Lift and resident of Baton Rouge and native of Plaquemine, Sam passed away August 10, 2018 at the BRG Bluebonnet. He was 83. Visitation will be Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 11000 Florida Blvd, from 5 pm to 8 pm, and continuing Monday, August 13, 2018 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church from 10 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon conducted by Rev. Pat Broussard. Interment in Greenoaks. He is survived by daughter, Belinda D. Methvin and husband Reid; son, Jeff DaQuanno and wife Kathleen; step-daughters, Jennifer Easterwood and Michelle Moix and husband Brian; sister, Mary Ann Zito; sister-in-law, Vergie Panepinto; grandchildren, Stephen Tyson, James DaQuanno, and Shelly Fiorito; step-grandchildren, Brendan Harp, Emerie Smith, and Leo and Jude Moix; great grandchildren, Nicholas, Noah, and Samantha Tyson, Hayden, Zoe, and Lyla Fiorito and Alex Sonnier. Preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Josephine Scotch Daquanno; brothers, Frank Panepinto and Carol Daquanno; sister, Inez Hebert; first wife, Mrs. Ruth Ford Daquanno, and second wife, Brenda Predue Daquanno. Pallbearers will be Stephen Tyson, Nicholas Tyson, James DaQuanno, Brendan Harp, Nick Fiorito and Peter Losavio.
